Back to Black

Black, for winter? Ground-breaking! This season black is the chicest way to make a style statement. With endless ways to wear it, the classic colour is not only versatile, but it’s also incredibly flattering on all body types. Whether you opt for a cool and casual daytime look as seen at Celine and Bally, or a more elegant head-to-toe black ensemble for the evening, much like those at Dior or Hermes; there are so many ways to style this statement colour, so go ahead and experiment!

Gold Sparkle

After a year filled with doom and gloom, we are all very in much need of a little sparkle in our lives, so why not amp up the glamour with shimmering gold tones? Metallic looks were leading the way on the runway this season, successfully bringing back the glamour we were craving. At Balmain, Valentino and Chanel we saw smart pieces being given an extra pop in gold fabrics, while over at Louis Vuitton and Dolce&Gabbana it was all about full-on sparkle. So grab some sequins and get ready to celebrate in style.

Colour Pop

While essential black pieces are key for this season, what’s even more exciting to invest in are statement garments that will add a bold pop of colour to any look. Start with neutral tones as the base of your look and build it up with colourful pieces. From sunshine yellow, as seen at Versace and Prada, to Pillar box red at Michael Kors, electric blue at Off-White and rainbow shades at Dolce&Gabbana, now is the time to embrace colour in all its glory and brighten up those rainy days.

Timeless Tailoring

You’re never too young or too old for classic timeless tailoring. Perfect for the workplace or even for an evening out, classic trouser and skirt suits have had a contemporary update this season so you can transcend trends. Brands such as Giorgio Armani and Alberta Ferretti have had the perfect suiting items perfected for decades, but now, younger brands such as Off-White and Victoria Beckham are offering a new twist on tailoring that works perfectly for all ages.
